33yr old Maj. Kunwar Anuj Singh, a Doonite, was yesterday awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the President for his exemplary courage. Maj. Anuj Singh was commissioned in the Indian Army in 2000 and is presently serving in J&K with 59 Rashtriya Rifles. An emotional Mrs. Savita Singh, Anuj Singh’s mother and one of the oldest residents of Dehradun, said that she was glad that her son lived up to the family tradition of valour in battle field. This bravery feat by her youngest son reminded her of the time her husband, Late Maj. Raja Ravinder Singh, stood outside the Lahore Police Station in 1971.

Distributing sweets to a crowd of well wishers who descended on Doonga House on hearing the news, Thakur Arjun Singh, the elder brother of the Major, said that Rajputs were known world over for their courage & bravery. He said that it is a proud moment for the family and he wished his father was alive to see this day.

I must say great work, congratulations for the book On variuos social networking websites every fan of yours talks and will continue to talk about Khushi and you for ages TrueI loved the narration of the book, how Simar made Ravinder(the character) fall in love. How Ravinder (the character) started feeling for her, protective about her, like she is a baby to be taken care of.Ravin made Khushi immortal, with you through you. Nothing could be better than I too had a love story. This is one love story which will remain with me forever and ever. The book is not that good, Could be because I too ..'has no comparison. I loved the first half, liked it mid way, but as it proceeded the book lost me, I just wanted to finish the book.Still for my favt. writer and few pages which i loved completely, I will give a Four.
