Himanshu Arora, another member of CFGD, informed the Governor about the proposed MDDA plan to fell 32 green trees in the campus of old Veterinary Hospital on Campus Road. He said that a park should be made in the compound as this is the only green patch in the area. Even if a parking had to be made, it could incorporate the trees in its landscaping and there was no need to fell those beautiful trees. The Governor gave the group a patient hearing and stressed on the need to keep Dehradun clean and green.
